The RootWords app is designed to make learning vocabulary engaging and effective through an interactive experience focused on word roots. With RootWords, your child will improve their reading comprehension, boost their critical thinking as they decode complex words, and gain a sense of confidence and curiosity in their language learning. RootWords can help children perform better in school and achieve academic success.
Does your child need help developing their reading skills? Is it frustrating or saddening to watch them struggle? Were they fine with “sight words”, but now struggle with longer words? We may help them learn vocabulary faster and maybe help their fluency. RootWords shows them how to decode words, to learn words quickly. They cannot memorize their way to a robust vocabulary. So, no memorizing long definitions, just learning small parts and putting them together like a puzzle.

If you're hoping to help your child or grandchild expand their vocabulary then the RootWords app is an excellent choice. The app makes learning fun engaging. With an understanding of roots, prefixes, and suffixes they will have the building blocks of language. By learning morphemes, they can decode the meaning of unfamiliar words and understand the nuances of language.
