FRIDAY Capacious (adjective)

Capacious is an adjective related to “capabilis,” meaning “able to hold.”  A capacious suitcase will carry enough stuff to last you through a month-long vacation (it will also be very heavy!).  A capacious auditorium will hold hundreds of spectators.  And a capacious mind can contain many ideas, even complex and sometimes contradictory ones, at the same time—which is a great virtue.
